Jimtof 2016, stand DMG Mori Seiki

The close cooperation between MT and DMG Mori Seiki was evident at the last JIMTOF! At DMG Mori Seiki booth the following innovations were present:

• The lathe NLX-2500/700 with laser device developed by MT. This machine, evolution of the model already presented by DMG Mori Seiki during the last Innovation Days in Iga, is equipped with a laser head for cutting, welding and heat treatment. The laser head is picked up only when needed and stored in the parking position when not used, allowing in a single machine to perform operations of turning, milling, laser cutting, laser welding and also heat treatment!

• Our sliding steady rest module was mounted on the lower turret of the NZX2000/800 machine, equipped also with loading/unloading Robotogo system!

• In a showcase were shown our Electrospindle X11, our slotting driven toolholder, our driven gear hobber, the radial 6 output driven toolholder and the 91° multiple broaching toolholder.
